Shae-Lynn McAllister

The family of a missing Indigenous woman is hoping a new RCMP billboard campaign in northwestern Alberta and a $10,000 reward will generate leads in a case that stretches back nearly six years.
Shae-Lynn McAllister of Horse Lake First Nation, was 20 years old when she disappeared from the Shell gas station in Fairview on the night of July 7, 2019. She had just finished work at the local A&W.

Big time supporterFebruary 14th Women's Memorial March

Every 14 February, in the city of Vancouver, located in the Canadian province of British Columbia, a mass march is organized to honor the women who have been murdered and have gone missing in that area since 1980. The event starts at 10:30 a.m. at the Carnegie Community Center building, located at 401 Main Street, where the relatives of the victims meet with activists of women’s rights organizations. The march begins at noon and goes along the streets of the Downtown Eastside stopping at the places where women were murdered or were last seen before going missing. The people taking part observe a minute of silence and offer prayers and roses in their honor. Then, activists give speeches to honor the victims. Copied Story Here!

Deeanna Erickson, 31, is still missing and was last seen on Friday, June 6, 2025, in Walden, Calgary (AB). Her last known timeline shows that she exited a train with a woman experiencing homelessness, joined a group near the station, and at 10:40 p.m. asked a bus driver when Route 167 would arrive before boarding the wrong bus. While on board, she appeared visibly distressed, holding her head and rocking; at 11:11 p.m., the bus paused outside the Walden McDonald’s, where Deeanna unexpectedly got off despite it not being her stop—this is her last confirmed sighting. She is described as 5’4” and approximately 130 lbs, and was last seen wearing a blue crew neck sweater, brown sweatpants, a purple windbreaker tied around her waist, black Nike runners, and carrying a backpack.
